The Everglades rivers are filled with wildlife such as crocodiles, alligators, and lots of different species of fish.
The American Crocodile is an endangered species.

The Everglades are also populated with insects such as spiders, beetles, ants, and other insects.

The climate in the everglades varies by season. The everglades can get near freezing. The high temperatures range from 53 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The average rainfall is 60 inches yearly.

Most of the scientists here are biologists. Biologists study different species of animals, for example reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and other different animals.
